Michelle Sinclair & Aubrey Henderson

DJ//Co-Owner//Event Manager

Michelle (DJ Lady Sinclair) & Aubrey met while working as DJs in the Hollywood club and bar scene.  They decided to collaborate after realizing that they both share the same taste in music, enthusiasm toward DJing and love for electronics.  Soon they were booking gigs together and hosted nights around town.  Deciding that they had bigger dreams and realizing that they both love helping people create successful events, they opened Haute Mobile Disco.

Since HMD opened its doors in 2014, Aubrey and Michelle have played music for likes of Mercedes, Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, the Oscars, CAA events, Sundance and Oprah Winfrey, to name a few.  They have worked together as a DJ duo creating a template for the collective that our whole team now follows.  Whether it's as a DJ Duo or playing with live musicians, they create infectious energy behind the turntables that is felt on the dance floor. It is exciting to watch them work. They can take any genre of music and mash them together to create a live, continuous mix. As a DJ duo, they love to play with their audience and see what journey they can take them on.  This model is embedded in the collective with every performance.

“I’m a firm believer that at the right time, a song can do things to an event that will make people remember it forever.”

Ian describes himself as “...a Curator of dance grooves, memories and feeling good”. Brought up on his Mother’s love for Jazz (Miles Davis, John Coltrane), Divas and Crooners (Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, Madonna) all which mixed with his own love for both 70s Funk (Rick James, KC and the Sunshine Band, James Brown) and his modern Pop influences (Maroon 5, Beyonce, John Legend).

Ian Sloane started his collaboration with HMD through sessions in his studio** which resulted in making some pretty epic remixes and re-edits including Bodoak Yellow and a cover of Paul Simon's Call Me Al. These sessions resulted in building some amazing DJ sets that helped HMD's live performance element to grow.

Ian's background as a professional musician has groomed him for the position of Production Manager/DJ/Live Performer. Ian's first love was the bass guitar in which by the time he graduated high school he had already performed at every venue on the iconic Sunset Strip in Hollywood. It was not long before his bass playing took him worldwide by opening for acts such as Lady Gaga, Diana Ross, Michael Bolton, Booker T Jones, Yelle, and Alexandra Stan. Ian’s experience as a performer and musician informs his style as a producer and DJ. Versatile and innovative, Ian brings to every project what the clients he works with want and need.

As a DJ, a multi-instrumentalist and co-owner of HMD, his musical sensibilities honor the richness of live instrumentation as well as the mindfulness of team building. Whether he is taking the lead as a DJ, as a supporting musician or simply as an event manager, Ian feels right at home.

**In 2015, Ian partnered with the post-production facility Movie Magic Media (MMM), an award-winning content creation studio in Culver City. At MMM, Ian manages the production and editing of sound content for the original media projects handled by the studio. In his spare time, Ian enjoys passing on his musical knowledge to the younger generation. He is a faculty member at the prestigious Windward School in Los Angeles as well as a teacher at Kid Row, a rock band music program.
